The main aim is to help teenagers overcome their confusions regarding relationships, sex and sharing responsibilities. Adolescence is a stage in life when teenagers go through a period of uncertainty and confusion.

They feel uncomfortable in sharing their problems and personal information with their parents. We are trying to provide a platform through this workshop where a group of teenagers can discuss such issues among themselves that they can’t with parents and teachers. We will only guide them to overcome these difficulties and take up more responsibilities.

What kind of problems do they face at this stage?

Most teenagers feel socially inept at this stage. Everything seems in a state of flux ——- their moods, their bodies, and their relationships with family and friends. They cannot overcome the sexual curiosity and feel shy to ask questions to their parents or teachers regarding sex.

Their inability to share the problem with their parents and place the right questions put them in greater consutodian. They consider sex as a taboo subject. Therefore most of the teenagers cannot cope with their emotions and remain depressed.

Are parents and teachers also participating?

No, we are not allowing parents and teachers to participate here because their presence will inhibit the youngsters to be frank. This is a closed session, where only the youngsters can participate.

What has been the response?

The response is good. Students from elite schools as well as destitute homes are coming to participate here.
